If your lead provider, web form, or other source of contact information integrates with Zapier, you can set up a "Zap" so the contacts will drop automatically into Blitz when you receive them.
Zapier is like a "middle man" that translates data from other programs, and can deliver the information to Blitz.
To check if your provider/system integrates with Zapier, search Zapier's apps here: Zapier App Directory
Instructions on Integrating with Blitz:
- Create a Blitz Web Form to match the contact information you will be receiving. Any contact information that will be sent to Zapier must be displayed as a field on the Blitz Web Form.
Click here for instructions on setting up a Blitz web form - Go to Administration>Web form, and click the edit pencil to the right of the web form you created in step 1. You need to make sure ALL the web form fields are checked. You can also set up an Auto Assign Group here to make sure a user is notified when a new lead comes in
Click here for more information about Auto Assign Groups - Open your web form in a new tab by clicking the "View Form" link. You will need the URL for your form (in the address bar of your browser) in a later step, so keep this tab open.
- Create a Zapier account
- Sign up here: zapier.com

- In Zapier:
- For the URL section, paste the URL of the Blitz webform from step 3, and add &mode=silent to the end of the URL. This part is critical to complete the connection to Blitz.
The full url should look similar to this:
https://www.blitzleadmanager.com/login/Form.aspx?id=34577578-37b8-467d-b930-9999999&mode=silent - Skip down to the Data section. This is where you'll link the data from your app to the fields in Blitz. The right side has a dropdown where you can select the data from your app. Select that first, then enter the corresponding Blitz field on the left side. The Blitz fields must be named specifically to match Blitz's requirements or Blitz will not recognize it. To find the correct Blitz field names, scroll to the bottom of this page and copy and paste the field names from the list. Once this step is complete, click "Continue"
- For the URL section, paste the URL of the Blitz webform from step 3, and add &mode=silent to the end of the URL. This part is critical to complete the connection to Blitz.
- First click "MAKE A ZAP" on the top of the screen.
- Next, choose your app by typing it in the search box, then clicking on it below.
- For the "Choose Trigger" step, this will vary depending on the app you're using. The trigger tells us when Zapier will send the lead to Blitz. In this example below with Wufoo, we want the lead sent to Blitz when someone fills out your Wufoo form. Select the appropriate trigger, then "Save + Continue."
- For the "Choose Account" step, you'll need to connect your app with Zapier. Click the "Connect an Account" button if an account is not already connected. Zapier will need the login information for your app. Once an account is connected, click "Save + Continue."
- The next steps vary depending on the App you're using. Zapier will need to know more details about where the contacts are coming from. In this example below, since we're working with a form, Zapier needs to know which form to use:
- The final trigger step is to test the connection. Just click continue here until you get to the action step.
- For the action step, we need to connect the data coming from your app to Blitz. The first step is to choose how it's sent. For the "Action App," type "Webhooks" in the search bar then select "Webhooks by Zapier."
- Select the "Post" action, and "Save + Continue."
- For the template section there are two parts to fill out - URL and Data. The rest can be left blank on this page.
- Last, you'll test the post. Click "Create & Continue" to test it, then check you Blitz account to make sure the lead was entered correctly (you can then delete the lead from Blitz since it was a test).
- This final step will have you save your zap and turn it on.
