Setting up the referral portal
- In order to send or receive referrals or leads through the Blitz Referral Portal, your account and the account you will be referring referrals or leads to will need to have this feature enabled.
- Once this is enabled there will be a new section on the black menu bar.
- If you do not have this option please contact support.
- The Blitz Referral Portal is an account add-on for an additional $3 per user per month.
Receiving referrals from another Blitz account
This feature can be used to request leads from another Blitz account. You are able to transfer leads live time between two completely separate Blitz accounts! To allow another Blitz account to send you leads simply complete the steps below.
- On the black menu bar find the referral portal drop down and select the option referral invite.
- Fill out the information in the prompt.
- This information must exactly match the information associated with their Blitz account. If the email address is not the email address of an active Blitz user, then the request will fail.

- Once you have completed the form check off the boxes and click Send Invitation
- You will then receive a confirmation message similar to the one below.
- It will now appear in your list as invitation pending.
- Now you will need to wait until the invitation is accepted by the Blitz account you are requesting to receive referrals from.
- Once the invitation is accepted it will now appear in your list as an account you receive leads from.
Adjusting settings for incoming referral portal leads
You are able to adjust the following settings for leads being referred into your Blitz account:
- Folder - Pick which folder the lead will go into
- Assignment - Auto Assign the leads
- Source - Create a custom source, or apply an existing source
To edit any of these settings complete the following steps:
- On the black menu bar find the referral portal drop down and select the option Referral Settings.
- Click the pencil icon located to the far right of the connected account that you would like to adjust.
- You are now able to adjust the settings of the leads you are receiving.
Sending Referrals To Another Blitz Account
This feature can be used to send referrals or leads to another Blitz account. You are able to transfer them live time between two completely separate Blitz accounts! To send another Blitz account referrals or leads simply complete the steps below.
- The Blitz account that you would like to start referring leads to must first send you an invitation. If you would like more information about this step please click here.
- Once they have completed the invitation check your email for a referral invitation from Blitz.
- Note you may need to check your spam folder if you do not receive it.

- Click Accept the Invitation to connect your Blitz accounts.
- If you are logged into Blitz, a new tab will open and you will receive the following confirmation message.
- If you are not logged into Blitz it will bring you to the login page.

- On the black menu bar find the referral portal drop down and select the option Referral Settings.
- It will now appear in your list as an account you can refer leads to.
How to send referrals or leads once connected
When sending leads to another Blitz account, the following information will be included:
- Message to Recipient: This pops up once you click the referral portal arrow. You are able to write any note you would like the recipient to know.
- Note that none of your history notes will be sent, and any information you would like them to know needs to be included in this message.

- Details Tab (See picture below for reference):
- Green Highlight - Items that will be sent to the connected Blitz Account.
- Red Highlight - Items that will not be sent to the connected Blitz Account.
- Anything in the custom fields will not be sent.
- To send a lead to another Blitz account open the lead log of the contact you will be sending.
- On the black menu bar find and select the arrow.
- A new window will now appear. Fill out the information in the prompt.
- Refer the Lead To - This drop-down will be a list of any accounts you are currently connected to. Simply select the account that you would like to send the lead to.
- Message To Recipient - This message can be any additional information about the lead that is not automatically sent. Click here to see what information is automatically transferred.
- Once you have filled out the information in the prompt select Refer the Lead.
- You will then receive a confirmation message similar to the one below.
- Once you exit out of the Refer Lead window, a history note will be recorded on the lead.
- The process is now completed. The lead will now be in the other Blitz account.
